ButtOffChair — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ButtOffChair (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use it. We built ButtOffChair to be a simple, private reminder app. We do not run any servers of our own, and the App does not collect, store, or transmit your personal information to us.

By using ButtOffChair, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

ButtOffChair is developed by Pioneer Forge Studios, a division of PT Pioneer Forge Labs Inovasi Digital.

2. Information the App stores on your device

Everything the App needs to work is stored locally on your own device and is never sent to us. This includes:

Your reminder interval and break-duration settings
Notification and sound preferences
Your streak history and activity/session progress
Any custom activity names or descriptions you enter
A cached flag indicating whether your premium subscription is active

This data stays on your device. If you uninstall the App, this local data is deleted. We have no access to it and never receive a copy.

3. Purchases and subscriptions (RevenueCat & the app store)

ButtOffChair offers optional premium subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play (and, on iOS, the Apple App Store). We never see or store your card number or billing details.

To manage subscriptions and unlock premium features, we use RevenueCat, a third-party purchase-management service. When you make or restore a purchase, RevenueCat processes:

Your purchase history / subscription status (which product you bought and whether it is active)
A randomly generated app user ID that RevenueCat assigns. This is not linked to your name, email, or any real-world identity.

This information is used only to verify your purchase and keep your premium features unlocked across reinstalls and devices. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy, and the store's own terms for Google Play and Apple.

4. Permissions the App requests, and why

Internet & billing	Only to process purchases through RevenueCat and the app store

The App does not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files, or calendar.

5. Information we do NOT collect

We want to be explicit. ButtOffChair does not:

Collect your name, email address, or phone number
Track your location
Show advertisements or use advertising identifiers
Contain third-party analytics or tracking SDKs
Sell or share your data with anyone (there is no data to sell)

6. Children's privacy

ButtOffChair is a general-purpose productivity/wellness app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

7. Data security

Because your settings and history live only on your device, their security is protected by your device's own security (screen lock, OS-level app sandboxing). Purchase verification with RevenueCat happens over an encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connection.

8. Your choices

You can turn notifications on or off at any time in the App's settings or your device settings.
You can reset the App's local data by clearing the App's storage in your device settings, or by uninstalling the App.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions any time in your Google Play or Apple App Store account settings.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
